Collection: American Social History and Social Movements

Knights of Labor Trade Card, showing a steamstress and tailor, representing age and beauty in a card designed to carry the imprint of an approved merchant on the reverse side.  The Knights of Labor represented an early attempt to organize both skilled and unskilled, native and foreign-born, men and women, and black and while workers in the same unions.  Terrence V.
